Sarah's Later Years
Sarah met Peter one Christmastime and, after a courtship which lasted less than a year, they moved in together where they lived in Midanbury, Southampton.

Sarah and Peter as a young couple
Sarah was working as a barmiad in the Castle Pub in Midanbury when they met, but after their daughter was born in 1990 Sarah gave up work to become a full time mum and housewife to raise their children Daniel and Aimee. Peter worked for a double glazing company when they met and he still works for them to this day.
Sarah and Peter were married on the 25th August 1995 in Southampton. Large do's were not their thing so having a small reception for family and close friends was perfect for them.

Sarah was also a mother who was dedicated to her family, creating a safe and loving enviroment for her children to grow up in was paramount to her. She had a very supportive family around her and this was the life she enjoyed.

Sarah's children and family were her life
Although Sarah was a mother, wife and homemaker, she was also a fun loving girl who knew how to have fun and always joined in the festivities, whatever the occasion. Christmas times and party times were occasions where Sarah excelled because she loved to be part of the organising; she loved to see others having fun and enjoying themselves too as a result of her efforts.

Sarah always joined in the fun, life was there to be enjoyed and she knew how to involve everyone
Sarah even staged a Christmas celebration in April 2000 so that when her brother Mark returned from serving in the Falkland Islands, where he spent Christmas and the millenium without his family, we had a special Christmas just for him with all the fun and games we usually had.
Holidaying as a family was very important to Sarah and she would work hard throughout the year and always looked forward to a holiday with her family. She would plan the holidays so that there was something for everyone to do and enjoy.

Sarah and Peter had their first holiday abroad as a family in the summer of '97 when they went to Escana in Ibiza. It was a quiet part of the island which was suited to families. She also went to Gran Canaria where she got an unexpected kiss.

Sarah's brother Mark was stationed in Cyprus for a few years and while there Sarah and her family enjoyed a holiday with them.

In January '97 Sarah started work as a carer for the company Carewatch. She was the type of person that this job suited right down to the ground. The job to her was so rewarding; she loved the fact that she was bringing care and support to all of the clients she had during the time she did the job. She would receive birthday cards and Christmas cards from many, if not all, of the clients she had.
Although the job was very hard, we could see in her face the job saticfaction she enjoyed. The care and attention she offered was not only recognised by her clients but also by her employers and she regularly received certificates and awards from them for outstanding service. She received her 10 year service award in January '07
